Tonia graduated from Atlantic County Community College and has spent over 20 years as a dental assistant, office manager, scheduler, and customer support specialist. She brings incredible organizing and scheduling skills to the Back to Work team. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her grown son and her grand-dog.
Andrea Johnson Workforce Navigator
A graduate of Martin Community College, Andrea is a former store manager with Goodwill Industries where she assisted potential employees the application process, made new hires, trained and supported people returning to work. She and her three children manage a menagerie of farm animals, but particularly love their horses, goats, and chickens.
Hannah Miller Workforce Navigator
Hannah is a firefighter’s wife, homeschooling mom, graduate of Appalachian State University, and former Special Education teacher. She has been married for 10 years, has 3 children and numerous farm animals, and is very happy to be able to work from home doing work she is passionate about!
C. Jane Johnson Co-Director, Accredited Disability Rep
Jane has specialized in helping clients win Social Security Disability claims since 2010 and loves helping people navigate the complicated Social Security system to get the benefits they deserve. A graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne University, Jane is an Accredited Disability Rep and provides legal representation for clients appearing before SSA. When she’s not working, Jane and her husband Ray are avid dog lovers. They have trained several dogs in obedience and agility including their current Catawba County Humane Society rescue, Trixie, a red Merle Australian Shepherd.
Nancy Huegerich, Co-Director, Attorney
Nancy is a long-time native of Hickory, North Carolina, and a graduate of Hickory High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from N.C. State University (graduating magna cum laude), and her Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina. Nancy has extensive experience in many aspects of the law but has focused her practice exclusively on Social Security disability work since 2015. When not working, Nancy usually hangs out with her husband, Mark; her two young daughters; and her Treeing Walker Coonhound, Suzy. In her free time, you will find her on the tennis courts or watching her daughters riding horses or playing soccer and lacrosse.
